Project for development and implementation of an innovative system that prevents impact loads and roll slippage on the rolling stand of Mill 650, PJSC “AZOVSTAL IRON & STEEL WORKS”, Mariupol.
The project implementation includes the following stages:
Development of the PUP system: Creation of a unique system capable of reliably and efficiently detecting and preventing shock loads and roll slippage inside the rolling stand to ensure a more stable and safe steel rolling process.
Integration with existing infrastructure: Preparation of the P&C system for integration with the existing production systems and equipment at the mill. Ensure compatibility and smooth integration of the new system to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
Testing and optimization: Thorough testing of the process control system in real-world conditions, as well as identifying and implementing optimizations to maximize efficiency and reliability.
Staff training: Training of employees who work with the new system to ensure proper use, regular maintenance, and prompt response to possible anomalies.
Support and further development: after the successful implementation of the OHS system, support is provided to ensure uninterrupted operation and possible development of the system based on new technologies and enterprise requirements.
As a result of the system implementation, the plant managed to reduce the risks of equipment damage, improve personnel safety, and increase the reliability and productivity of the steel rolling process by implementing an innovative OHS system.
